Young Naturalists 2019 "The Best of Young Naturalists"
Join us in celebrating 25 years of Young Naturalists Day Camp! We will be bringing back some of the most fun and educational opportunities that children have enjoyed for years. Of course, we will be planting and harvesting in the Gardens and spending some time catching salamanders and other aquatic insects in the woodland stream!
The one-week sessions are for children who have completed first grade through fifth grade. Young Naturalists spend the week exploring the gardens, greenhouses, woodlands, meadows, and streams of Reynolda with expert naturalists and scientists. Students are accompanied by adult volunteers and student assistants. The week includes a swimming opportunity in the Reynolda House pool and culminates with a show for family and friends.
9:00 a.m. until noon each day, $150.00 per week, per child. Scholarships are available. Please call or email the Education Office with any questions and inquiries on availability.
